Yolanda Carrasco
Yolanda is a proud co-owner of Alpha Hair Design since 1991 and a member of the American Board Certified Hair Colorists. She specializes in corrective and multi-dimensional color techniques that enhance face shapes through contouring, with over 37 years in the salon industry and a partnership with Goldwell since 1993 — including 25 years as an Educator and National Artist on the US Team.
Inspiring professionals to achieve color perfection is her passion. Alongside her husband Jesús, she has traveled internationally for events and trade shows, with their work featured in numerous publications and broadcast events. Her experience has been the key to transforming corrective color into a masterpiece.
Jesús Carrasco
Born in Mexico City with more than 42 years of experience in the beauty industry, Jesús was strongly influenced by his mother, a stylist. He moved to Chicago in 1985 and taught cosmetology for years before opening the salon with his wife Yolanda. They have raised two children here and have inspired countless stylists to become educators.
Jesús joined the Goldwell Artistic Team in 2000. With a wealth of knowledge in cutting and color techniques, he creates a clear vision of what complements the total look — from the cut and color to the final hairstyle. His work has been published widely and he was nominated for the Goldwell Stylist Team Awards from 2006 to 2008.
